Projects and Partnerships
Springhill Hospice works in partnership with charitable trusts, foundations and grant-making bodies to deliver life-changing projects for people with life-limiting conditions, their loved ones and carers. Partnerships enable us to pilot innovative programmes, improve our facilities and reach more people who need our specialist care in the Borough of Rochdale, Middleton and Heywood.

Why partner with Springhill Hospice?
Through the generosity of trusts and foundations, we have been able to:
- Launch pioneering projects such as our specialist dementia care project
- Enhance our Inpatient Unit and Hospice facilities
- Provide respite and Wellbeing programmes
- Provide poverty prevention support
- Offer specialist training for staff and the wider Hospice community
Every partnership is built on shared values, transparency and commitment to creating measurable impact. Many people come to us at a point of crisis. We strive to provide wraparound support for patients and their loved ones.
āWhen my father was end of life, walking into Springhill Hospice was like walking into love. You gave me support that I didnāt realise I needed. From the brilliant nursing staff to the Citizenās Advice Councillor to bereavement counselling, the level of care for my father, myself and my family was outstanding. During the most stressful time of my life, you gave me space to spend quality time with Dad and for that I will be forever gratefulā
