Gift Aid

This is one of the most valuable ways to give. If you have made any kind of financial donation to the Hospice in the last 4 years, and you are a tax-payer, if you sign up to GiftAid, we can claim the taxable amount of your donation at no cost to you.

We would get an extra 25p for every £1 you donate.  in 2024/25 we received an extra £93,234 at no cost to our supporters, just from GiftAid alone. 

Amazon Wishlist

Some people like the idea of funding something specific that helps our patients make every moment count. That’s why we created our Amazon Wishlist. We regularly add new items requested by different departments for various projects that you can see on our list, pay for and will be delivered directly to us. These might be items for our garden, craft materials for our Wellbeing sessions and sometimes things like pyjamas for our patients.

Easy Fundraising 

We are signed up with EasyFundraising, a great online programme that helps raise money for Springhill as you shop, at no cost to you! 

Easyfundraising partners with over 7,000 brands who will donate part of what you spend to a cause of your choice. It won’t cost you any extra. The cost is covered by the brand. When you make a purchase, a commission is generated, which turns into a donation – magic! 

In just a few simple steps, you could be raising money for Springhill at no extra cost to you. 

From Trash to Treasure  – Donate your Vehicle

You might be familiar with the fact that we can take your unwanted clothing, homewares and furniture at our shops to sell on to raise money, but did you know you can also donate unwanted vehicles?  

We have partnered with Giveacar, a not-for-profit social enterprise that can turn your unwanted car, motorbike or van into cash for Springhill in just three easy steps: 

• Fill out the donation form or call Give a Car on 0207 7364242 and choose Springhill Hospice as your chosen charity 
• They’ll determine the best option for your vehicle (this could be auction or scrapping) and arrange free collection 
• You’ll receive a receipt from them letting you know how much your car raised and they will donate the proceeds directly to us 

Recycle Your used Ink-Cartridges

You can also recycle your used ink-cartridges through Recycle4Charity to raise money for Springhill 

There are two ways to donate your unwanted cartridges: 

• Online: Head to Recycle4charity, select us as your charity and post off your goods OR  
• Drop your cartridges off at Springhill Hub (OL16 4PG) and we will do the rest! 

Recycle4Charity will then check for compatibility and the value of your donation will go into our bank 

At the moment this only applies to some ink cartridges (NOT toner cartridges unfortunately) so please check your model’s compatibility before sending to avoid disappointment. 

Donate Used Stamps

We can also recycle used stamps and can make use of any unused foreign currency you may have after your holidays.

Simply drop them with our Hospice reception and we will do the rest.
