Helping provide comfort and expert care

Make every step, every pound, every act of kindness count; fundraise for Springhill

When you choose to fundraise for Springhill Hospice, you’re not just raising money, you’re helping provide comfort and expert care to people facing some of life’s toughest moments.

With an annual fundraising target of Ā£2.5 million, every pound you raise is one more pound funding our services. That’s more nursing hours, more patients cared for and more support for loved ones, for today and tomorrow.

ā€œSpringhill gave my mum the most compassionate care in her final weeks. Fundraising in her memory helped us feel connected and gave us something positive to focus on.ā€

Sarah, Springhill supporter

Where do I start?

Organising a fundraiser might seem a bit daunting, but rest assured, our fabulous Fundraising Team are here to help every step of the way.

Step One: Get an idea

Some people might have a bucket list they want to tick off, others might not know where to start. Ideas are sometimes the hardest part, so we’ve gathered some for you in our

Step Two: Make a plan

Set a date, find a venue, get what you need. Some might be simple like making cookies to sell. Others might take a little more organisation an outdoor event at your local pub. We can support you with some Tips and Tricks in our Fundraising Guide, to help make sure you’ve thought of everything.

Step Three: Get some Help

The Fundraising Team at Springhill is always on hand to give advice, provide supplies and help you make your fundraiser the best it can be. Tell us about your fundraiser and get everything you need; order donation buckets, grab some t-shirts and download sponsor forms.

Plus if you tell us all about your event, we can help you promote it.

Step Four: Tell the world

Shouting about your fundraiser is the best way to bring in more money and stay motivated, so posters, videos and sharing on social media will all help spread the word.

Step Five: Raise the money

This might seem obvious but in a digital era there are lots of ways you can make this easier, with things like QR codes, Just Giving Pages and digital collecting pots. We’ve also made it easy to pay your final amount in digitally below.

Step Six: Do your thing

Get baking, making, racing, quizzing… whatever your fundraiser, enjoy it! It’s all for a great cause but putting the FUN in fundraising is just as important. Making every moment count isn’t just for our patients, it’s for our supporters too.
