Corporate fundraising and partnership opportunities

From sponsoring our annual calendar to hosting fundraising events, we work with you to create partnerships that feel authentic to your brand.

Corporate sponsorship

What could I sponsor?

Springhill Hospice are proud to host a calendar of various events throughout the year with something for everyone. Your business could put your name to one of these events by being a sponsorship partner or advertising with us.

Our advertising and corporate sponsorship opportunities are one of the most effective ways to support us and increase awareness of your business at the same time.  It’s a great, fun way to be involved and we have lots of opportunities to suit a variety of budgets.

Will it be in my budget?

Our current sponsorship opportunities can be found here or we can put together a bespoke package that fits with your brand, budget and your goals.

Gifts in Kind

Sometimes the most valuable support isn’t money. It’s expertise, products, or services. If you have something we might need, let’s talk about a mutually beneficial arrangement.

Will it benefit my business?

Absolutely! By donating these valuable resources, you will not only be supporting the Hospice in providing exceptional care to patients and their loved ones but you will also demonstrate your commitment to community welfare and social responsibility. There can also be tax benefits to businesses from donating items like these, so it can be mutually beneficial.

Charity of the Year

What is a Charity of the Year?

Charitable giving has many benefits for a business, but selecting a Charity of the Year to support can show a real determination to support one cause in particular, and give people a positive perception of a business they may not otherwise know much about.

Why choose Springhill Hospice?

Springhill Hospice is a charity servicing your local community. All of the services we offer are provided to our patients and their loved ones free of charge. We receive 17% funding from the government. We work hard to bridge that gap through partnerships such as Charity of the Year, fundraising and grants. Your support will make a huge difference.

Our position in the community means our staff, events, shops and communications are seen by a huge percentage of your potential customer base, so showing your support for us can help us fund our services, and expand your business potential.

What do I need to do?

Choose or nominate Springhill as your Charity of the Year, and our dedicated team will collaborate closely with you to design a meaningful partnership. Together, we can create initiatives that have a lasting impact on the community, garner positive publicity for your business, and inspire and engage your colleagues. With your support, we can achieve remarkable outcomes and make a difference that resonates far and wide.

Payroll Giving

The easiest way for your employees to support us regularly. They choose an amount to be deducted from their salary before tax, meaning their donation goes further while costing them less. You handle the admin once, and we receive reliable income that helps us plan ahead.

What are the benefits of Payroll Giving?

Payroll Giving provides Springhill Hospice with a regular, long-term income. This is invaluable because it not only provides guaranteed revenue for the Hospice, it also enables us to budget and plan Hospice care services for years to come.

For you it is a tax-free, practical way of giving and you know that every £1 you donate will go directly to helping provide specialist care for our patients. For example, giving £5 a month (£60 per year) will cover the cost of providing a therapy treatment for a patient helping to reduce stress and anxiety.

How can I support Springhill Hospice through Payroll Giving?

It’s very simple. All you need to do now is download the Payroll Giving form [Insert download: Payroll Giving Form] fill it in and pass it to your payroll department.

Other ways to get involved:

Team Building Challenges

Team building challenges for charity benefit both you and the Hospice. You will enhance your teamwork, boost employee morale, and improve company reputation.   For the Hospice, these challenges raise funds and get us some way to reaching our daily fundraising target of £11,000 (25/26) It also increase awareness, and attracts community support. It’s a win-win situation that strengthens businesses while providing vital support to us.

Volunteer Hours

Want your team to see where their support goes? Organise a volunteer day at the hospice. Your people can help with gardening, decorating, admin tasks, or special events. Many businesses find these days become annual traditions that their staff genuinely look forward to.

For Springhill, your support is invaluable; Volunteers help us provide compassionate care to our patients and their loved ones, making a real difference in their lives. Together, we create a positive and lasting impact, fostering a stronger bond between your business and the community.

At the start of 2025 we had around 260 regular volunteers but ad hoc volunteers for specific projects make a huge difference, such as a team of employees taking an afternoon out to help clean and repaint the furniture in our Patient Gardens.

You can volunteer in any way that suits your business, whether that’s sending a man in a van to help us collect Christmas Trees for an hour, to giving your whole team a Saturday off to ramble across the reservoirs of Rochdale on sponsored walk; they all help.

There are opportunities at the Hospice, in our gardens, our shops or at events. You could even volunteer time to help as a Community Champion, promoting the Hospice.
