Hi, I’m Victoria, and I’ve been a nurse at Springhill Hospice for just under a year. Before joining the team, I completed a placement here as a Nursing Associate and knew straight away that this was where I wanted to work.
I genuinely love my job. Every patient, every family and every moment stays with me because it all matters. Working here is all about the small moments that bring the most joy.
It’s the little things that make the biggest difference. Some people come to us who haven’t had a bath in weeks because they can’t or they just want to sit outside to listen to the birds, and we can make that happen. You often find us running a bubble bath for a patient, speakers on and we’re all singing along together!
