I have lived in Rochdale for over 40 years and have enjoyed a career in economic development, working for Rochdale Council and City and County Councils in Nottingham. I am now retired and have time to devote to local organisations that I am passionate about.
I am so pleased to have joined the Board of Trustees, where I hope to use my skills, knowledge and experience to help sustain the Hospice, be an employer of choice, and support exciting future plans.
My family and I have directly benefited from the excellent services and facilities at Springhill and found all staff and volunteers to be so welcoming, professional and caring. The wide range of services is so impressive and it is vital that these are provided for the local community for many years to come. I hope that I can play a small part in ensuring that happens.
