Business Buddies REALLY Big Breakfast

Even bigger than our ususal Big Breakfasts, this event has a super guest speaker and a full English Breakfast Our Guest Speaker is: Kevin Sinfield CBE Kevin is an English rugby union coach, currently the skills and kicking coach for the England national team. He is a former professional rugby league player for Leeds Rhinos, England and Great Britain. Sinfield played his entire professional career with Leeds and is one of the most successful players in Super League history, having captained the team to seven Super League championships and two Challenge Cup successes. He also earned individual accolades as winner of the Lance Todd Trophy, Harry Sunderland Trophy twice and the Golden Boot, one of only five British-based players to win the latter. He holds records as the highest points-scorer in Super League history, the third-highest points-scorer in British rugby league history and Leeds's record points scorer. Sinfield is also only one of two players to have led a team to win three consecutive Super League titles. He won 26 caps for England, which he captained, and 14 caps for Great Britain. If hearing Kevin talk doesn't inspire you to greatness, we don't know what will! Abseil the Trafford Palazzo

Do you have what it takes to Abseil for Springhill? Location: Trafford Palazzo, Trafford City, Greater, Manchester, M17 8AS Date: Saturday 28th June 2025 Cost: £0 fees but a minimum sponsorship total of £200 If you’re looking for your next exhilarating fundraising event then join us at one of the largest abseil events in the North West. The Trafford Palazzo abseil is great for a team building day or your next challenge, you will be abseiling 170 feet down the side of Barton Square Tower. We have limited places, so show your interest today by filling out the form below. Training will be provided on the day, and all safety equipment and guidance. You can set up your fundraising page here and we will support you along the way. Once you have booked your place, we will be in touch closer to the time to confirm your allocated time slot. You cannot participate if you are: Under 11 years old Pregnant Under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs If any of the following apply, you must seek professional medical advice before abseiling and sign a non-standard waiver: High blood pressure Heart condition Suffer from dizziness or epilepsy Damage to neck, back, spinal column, legs or eyes Asthma Medication – if you are taking any form of prescribed medication, please inform us of how this may affect you Aged 50 years or above: we strongly advise that you seek medical advice prior to taking part.

3 Reservoir Ramble

Start point, the Oxford. OL12 0TB

Walk in memory of your loved ones around our beautiful local surroundings with the 3 Reservoir Ramble. The ramble will start at 10.30am from the gardens of the Oxford Pub and take you over the hills of Healey Stones across to Wardle, passing 3 reservoirs: Hamer Pasture, Brown House Wham and Watergrove reservoir. Total walk distance is around 12km (7.5miles) and is an off road walk over open countryside. Participants will receive an event specific t-shirt, a certificate and refreshments. Ticket prices will help fund palliative care in your community through Springhill Hospice. Adults £15 (pre-sale) £20 thereafter Under 16's £12 (pre-sale) £15 thereafter Each participant will be entitled to an event t-shirt as part of their ticket price. You will be asked to complete a simple online poll for your preferred size when you receive your Welcome Pack, post sign up. T-shirts will be available to collect in advance from the Fundraising team at the Springhill Hub, or from the start line on the day of the event. Sizes will range from XS to XL and be handed out on a first come first served basis. Apologies that we may not be able to guarantee your required size will be available on the day (you may have to size up) Please note, dogs are welcome but the route may not be suitable for strollers and very young children. Online tickets will remain on sale until September 14th or sooner if sold out. Sign ups may be available on the day, dependent on numbers.
