This donation supports our vital work and helps ensure others can benefit from the same service.

* Please ensure you check with the solicitors before any meeting to ensure you meet their 'Standard Will' criteria in order to qualify for this service . If you have any questions on this, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with a member of the Springhill team on 01706 641790

In years to come, your gift could make a big difference, giving a patient and their loved ones peace and dignity at the end of life…

Once you have taken care of your loved ones and those you care about, considering Springhill in your Will could make a real difference to those who may need Hospice care in the future.

The solicitor we have partnered with this month is JBHS Solicitors.

How making a Will can help Springhill

Dedicating just 1% of your assets to Springhill would still allow 99% of your estate to go to your loved ones.

A bequest to Springhill Hospice will help:

  • Provide specialist palliative care for local people with life limiting illnesses, either in our Inpatient Unit, or with our Community and Hospice at Home services
  • Supply patients with comprehensive symptom control management, pain relief, rehabilitation and end of life care
  • Allow the services of Wellbeing and Supportive Care to continue, ensuring patients are able to continue living at home, while still benefitting from all the facilities available at the Hospice
  • To maintain and enhance the quality of life for our patients, caring for each of them with dignity, sensitivity and understanding
  • To support through education, a range of health care professionals
  • To care for patients’ loved ones during illness and in the event of a bereavement

Springhill is proud to offer all of these services free of charge to patients and their loved ones

  Leaving a gift of:

£198 could provide a Night Sitting Service in a patient's home, so their loved one can get some rest

£210 could provide a visit from one of our Specialist Palliative Care Nurses to a patient in their own home

£292 could provide one hour of Specialist Palliative Care in our Inpatient Unit

£450 could help pay for the Hospices' utility bills for one day
