Due to the ongoing pandemic, we are currently offering a telephone befriending service. This involves having a weekly chat with the patient who may be feeling lonely or isolated. Psychological, emotional and spiritual support is available to patients and families from the Psychological and Supportive Care Team.

During the coronavirus pandemic, counselling has mostly been provided to patients and relatives by telephone or video. As things return to normal, we hope to offer more face-to-face counselling sessions, both at the hospice and at other venues in the community. Home visits are available for house-bound patients.
