Safeguarding

Safeguarding

Safeguarding is everyone’s business. Springhill Hospice believes that it is always unacceptable for adults, young people and children to experience abuse of any kind and recognises its responsibility to safeguard the welfare of all adults at risk in line with the Care Act (2014) and Children’s Act (1989 / 2004).

We ensure that Springhill Hospice safeguards the welfare of adults, young people and children who may be at risk and are able to recognise the signs and respond appropriately to allegations of abuse. We aim to achieve this by ensuring that Springhill Hospice complies with statutory and local guidance for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk by creating a safe environment.
