Springhill Hospice Christmas Fair – A Heartfelt Thank You to the community!

Springhill Hospice is delighted to announce the wonderful success of this year’s Christmas Fair, which raised an incredible £16,804, and would like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, donated, or supported the event. Your generosity helped create a festive, joyful day while raising vital funds for patient care at the Hospice.

This year’s fair was made possible thanks to the outstanding support of local businesses whose donations significantly reduced event costs and maximised the fundraising achieved on the day. Springhill extend their deepest thanks to:

Forrest Fresh Foods, BNI Rochdale, Roger Hannah & Auction House North West, Lords Caterers, Heron Bakers, Yearsleys, Tesco, Cocos Grill House and Desserts, Albany Products, ASDA Rochdale, Morrisons (Rochdale & Heywood Community Champions), Iceland, and the Co-op.

Springhill are also incredibly grateful to the performers who filled the day with festive cheer. Special thanks to DJ Andy Stott, Rock Choir, Milnrow Line Dancers, Tracey Rae School of Dance and Cheer, and Wardle Community Brass Band for providing fantastic entertainment enjoyed by all in attendance.

A huge thank you also goes to the groups who volunteered their time to keep the event running smoothly: Rochdale Masons – East Lancashire Masons, Middleton Rotary, Greater Manchester Police Rochdale, Streamline Taxis, and RAFC 1263 Squadron. A special thanks to David Hurst for providing excellent photography coverage on the day too.

The Christmas Fair is an extremely important event in Springhill’s calendar, and the kindness of the Rochdale, Heywood and Middleton community ensures the Hospice can continue delivering compassionate care to those who need it most. Springhill Hospice extends its heartfelt appreciation to every person, performer, and organisation involved.
