In August 2025, the wonderful Shan Young, Nursing Assistant at Springhill Hospice, climbed the Yorkshire Three Peaks in aid of Springhill Hospice.
Shan managed to climb the Yorkshire Three Peaks (Pen-y-ghent-2,277 feet, Whernside-2,415 feet and Ingleborough-2,372 feet) in 10 hours and 50 minutes.
That’s 60,000 steps and 39.1km!
She managed to raise an incredible £1,125 for Springhill Hospice – what an incredible achievement.
