Thanks to a grant from JD Foundation, Springhill Hospice were able to purchase Bereavement Memory Boxes for children and young people.
Creating and reviewing a memory box can be used as a therapeutic activity for trying to process the loss of a loved one and the feelings of grief.
The memory boxes focus on the treasured memories and can be filled with mementos, photos, and sensory items that are reminders of the person who has died.
