When we hear of any third party events being organised, they will also be included on this list. If you are organising an event in aid of the hospice therefore, and wish to publicise it on our website, please send the necessary details either by email or in writing to the above address.
Sat 25th Oct - Hard Hats For Charity PGC Demolition's 2nd Charity Ball for Springhill Hospice at the Mount, Heywood. Tickets:£85 include Champagne Reception, five-course dinner, free bar and entertainment.. Available from Alison Cordwell or Joanne Harrow on 01706 627888.
Fri 31st Oct - Ghost Walk around Hollingworth Lake. It's All Hallows Eve so come and listen to grisly stories about the Lake and its environs. Commencing from the Rowing Club Car Park at 10:30pm. Tickets £7.50 per person include hot drink to steady the nerves! SOLD OUT!
Fri 14th Nov - Star Studded Charity Evening at North Chadderton Social & Bowling Club, Broadway in aid of Christie Hospital, Dr Kershaw's Hospice and Springhill Hospice. Tickets, £6 from 01706 653079.
Thu 20th Nov - Jock McAvoy Centenary Celebrations at Richmond Hall, Lomax Street, Rochdale. Join many of the country's boxing champions for an evening of nostalgia. Entertainment from the Ambassadors. Tickets £10 from 07944 404034.
Fri 21st Nov - Men of Rochdale Luncheon at Rochdale Town Hall commencing with a Beer reception at 1:00pm for a 1:30pm luncheon. Tickets £32 per person. Guest Speaker, TV funnyman, Mick Miller.
Sun 30th Nov - Christmas Fair back at the Hospice! FREE ENTRY and FREE Park & Ride from Springhill High School. Fair open 10:00am to 3:00pm. Bring the family and join in the fun with Father Christmas.
Sat 6th Dec - Champion Brass & Voices at the Gracie Fields Theatre. Presented by Rochdale East Rotary Club in aid of the Hospice and Rochdale Music Service. Featuring Brighouse and Rastrick Band with Rochdale Youth Band and Choir - compered by Norman Prince. Tickets £15.00 and £12.50 available from Sandifords Gallery, Drake Street, Rochdale and the Hospice Fundraising Office.
Sun 7th Dec - Father Christmas Fun Run around Hollingworth Lake. Join over 100 Santas in our annual fun run. You can jog, walk, push the pram, walk the dog - whatever you wish - as long as you are dressed as Santa! Commences at 10:30am.
Sun 14th Dec - Hospice Carol Service at St Chad's Parish Church, Rochdale commencing at 2:30pm.
Thu 18th Dec - Lights of Love Services at the Hospice at 2:00pm and 6:00pm.
Sat 14th Feb - Valentine's Night Supper -
Littleborough's historic Coach House Heritage Centre transforms its bistro restaurant for this romantic night with great food, live Bouzouki music, dancing and plate smashing. Sat 18th Apr - Brass and Voices Gala Concert featuring Black Dyke Mills Band and Greater Manchester Police Male Voice Choir. At the Gracie Fields Theatre commencing at 7:30pm. Tickets, priced at £15 and £12.50, available early February 2009.
Wed 22nd Apr - Women of Rochdale Luncheon at the Town Hall. Join around 300 ladies as the 2009 Rochdale Woman of the Year title is awarded. Tickets £32 available early March 2009.
Sat 30th May - Crystal Ball at the Town Hall organised by the Rotary Club of Rochdale East. Further details to follow
