When we hear of any third party events being organised, they will also be included on this list. If, therefore, you are organising an event in aid of the hospice and wish to publicise it here, please send the necessary details either in writing to the above address or by email.
We would request that any organisers of events in support of Springhill Hospice please read and, complete this document and return it to the address shown before their event takes place. Thank you.
Fri 12th Mar - Charity Night at Newtown National Club, Nixon Street, Rochdale in memory of Anne Hamill. Tickets available from Bob Hamill on 659563.
Sat 20th Mar - Mid-life Crisis in concert at Shaw Playhouse 2 in aid of Springhill and Dr. Kershaws Hospices.
Tunes and songs from the 1950's to 90's from local 5-piece pop/rock band. Tickets £10 available from Petticoats, Market Street, Shaw on 01706 847494 or online here and here. Doors open at 7:00pm, concert commences at 8:00pm.
Sun 21st Mar - Tandem Parachute Jump at Lancaster Airfield, in conjunction with Skyline and the Black Knights Parachute Team . To set up an online sponsorship page and/ or download your registration pack go here.
Wed 21st Apr - Women of Rochdale Luncheon at Rochdale Town Hall. Sponsored by Marabella Boutique, Chantilly and Venture Photography. Tickets £35 per person - guest speaker is renowned comedian and actress, Pauline Daniels.
Sun 27th June - Gala Day and Summer Fair at the Hospice. FREE ENTRY and FREE Park & Ride from Springhill High School. 10:00am to 3:00pm. This event replaces our traditional Spring Fair.
Sat 17th July - Midnight Walk - our ladies-only sponsored walk over 6 or 13 miles. Further details to follow.
Fri 24th Sept - Annual Golf Day - at Rochdale Golf Club.
Sat 16th - Sun 24th Oct - Great Wall Of China Trek. A 5-day trek along the Great Wall arranged in conjunction with Classic Tours. Contact 0785 143 0076 or email chinatrek2010@googlemail.com for further details and a registration pack.

Sun 12th Dec - Father Christmas Fun Run around Hollingworth Lake. More details to follow in due course.
